- Small GTPase-like component of the intraflagellar transport(IFT) complex B that promotes the exit of the BBSome complex from cilia via its interaction with ARL6(PubMed:25443296). Not involved in entry of the BBSome complex into cilium. Prevents aggregation of GTP-free ARL6(PubMed:25443296). Required for hedgehog signaling. Forms a subcomplex within the IFT complex B with IFT25(By similarity).

At 2-8 °C unless the datasheet says otherwise. Do not freeze a kit that is not marked for freezing.
How long is an opened kit stable?
It depends on the component. The Kit Components table on this page lists the storage condition for each item after opening.
What should I do if the shipment arrives warm?
Photograph the package and contact us the same day. Do not use the kit until we have confirmed it is still within specification.

My background is too high. What should I check?
The usual causes are insufficient washing, contaminated buffers, or too much detection antibody. Our Protocol pages cover the full troubleshooting sequence.
Can I run fewer wells than the kit provides?
Yes. Dismountable microplates let you use part of a plate and reseal the rest with the desiccant supplied.
