- May regulate certain MYC target genes, MYC seems to be a direct upstream transcriptional activator. Does not seem to significantly affect growth cell capacity. Overexpression seems to mediate many of the known phenotypic features associated with MYC, including promotion of apoptosis, alteration of morphology, enhancement of anchorage-independent growth, tumorigenic conversion, promotion of genomic instability, and inhibition of hematopoietic differentiation(By similarity).

At 2-8 °C unless the datasheet says otherwise. Do not freeze a kit that is not marked for freezing.
How long is an opened kit stable?
It depends on the component. The Kit Components table on this page lists the storage condition for each item after opening.
What should I do if the shipment arrives warm?
Photograph the package and contact us the same day. Do not use the kit until we have confirmed it is still within specification.

My background is too high. What should I check?
The usual causes are insufficient washing, contaminated buffers, or too much detection antibody. Our Protocol pages cover the full troubleshooting sequence.
Can I run fewer wells than the kit provides?
Yes. Dismountable microplates let you use part of a plate and reseal the rest with the desiccant supplied.
