- Involved in transcriptional regulation, through association with histone acetyltransferase(HAT) SAGA-type complexes like the TFTC-HAT, ATAC or STAGA complexes. Specifically recognizes and binds methylated 'Lys-4' of histone H3(H3K4me), with a preference for trimethylated form(H3K4me3). In the SAGA-type complexes, required to recruit complexes to H3K4me. May be involved in MYC-mediated oncogenic transformation.

At 2-8 °C unless the datasheet says otherwise. Do not freeze a kit that is not marked for freezing.
How long is an opened kit stable?
It depends on the component. The Kit Components table on this page lists the storage condition for each item after opening.
What should I do if the shipment arrives warm?
Photograph the package and contact us the same day. Do not use the kit until we have confirmed it is still within specification.

My background is too high. What should I check?
The usual causes are insufficient washing, contaminated buffers, or too much detection antibody. Our Protocol pages cover the full troubleshooting sequence.
Can I run fewer wells than the kit provides?
Yes. Dismountable microplates let you use part of a plate and reseal the rest with the desiccant supplied.
